When planning your vacation, do you consider the possibility of rain? If not, I have a little secret for you…it rains a lot in New River Gorge! It’s the nature of the area. Our summers are usually pretty dry and sunny, which is great for hiking. But winter rains often swing through West Virginia. And even on those “dry” days, we get some showers. So I decided to compile a list of 17 rainy day activities that you can do either inside or outside when the weather is foul in New River Gorge.
