Some houses are just buildings. This one has something different going on. The original hardwood floors creak just enough to remind you where you are. The kitchen — with its green cabinets and farmhouse table — is the kind of place where a Saturday morning stretches long over coffee and eggs before anyone checks their phone.
It's been thoughtfully updated while keeping the charm of the original 1928 home.
The backyard has a fire pit and a bistro patio — two options, depending on what kind of evening you're after. Downtown Fayetteville is a short walk. Canyon Rim Visitor Center is five minutes by car.

Queen bed, quality linens, blackout curtains for sleeping past sunrise. The kind of bedroom that makes you want to stay one more night.
A full bed, good natural light, and a room that feels like it’s been lived in by people who knew what they were doing. Comfortable and well-appointed.
Two twins — good for kids, good for the two friends who aren’t sharing. A comfortable room that earns its place in the house.
The room the group drifts to after dinner. Queen sleeper sofa, a TV, and exactly the right energy for a slow night in after a big day out. Doubles as a fourth bedroom when the headcount calls for it.
Green cabinets, a shiplap ceiling, a checkered floor, and a farmhouse table that makes breakfast feel worth slowing down for. A coffee maker, a French press, everything stocked. This is that kitchen.
A round farmhouse table that fits everyone. Big breakfasts before heading out, card games that go too late — this table handles both.
A fire pit on one side, a bistro patio on the other. Pick your evening. Either way, this is where the night ends up.
No filler, no fluff — just a well-stocked home with the things that matter.

Check AvailabilityDT Bungalow sits in a residential neighborhood in downtown Fayetteville — one of the most walkable locations in the entire gorge area. Court Street restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques are a 5-minute stroll.
We had an amazing stay! This house has so much character and charm. The location is perfect — walking distance to downtown Fayetteville. Elizabeth was a wonderful host and had great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. We will definitely be back!
Elizabeth is an amazing host! She had a very thoughtful guide with local recommendations. The home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We loved being able to walk to downtown for dinner and coffee. Already planning our return trip!
This was our fourth year in a row staying at the bungalow. We absolutely love this home and Elizabeth is the best host. The house is always spotless, beautifully maintained, and feels like our home away from home. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting the gorge.
Planning a trip and want to be sure before you book? Here's the honest version.
It really is. Court Street — coffee, dinner, boutiques, a brewery or two — is about a five-minute walk from the front porch. Most guests end up leaving the car parked for the whole first day.
Canyon Rim Visitor Center, the Bridge, and the Bridge Walk are all about five minutes by car. Long Point Trailhead is eight minutes. You’re closer than you’d expect from a house this walkable to downtown.
Up to 8 guests across three bedrooms and a flex TV room with a queen sleeper sofa. Two full bathrooms. There’s real room here — nobody’s tripping over each other.
DT Bungalow isn’t pet-friendly for most of the year — but between November and March, we do occasionally make exceptions for well-behaved dogs with prior approval. If you’re traveling in the off-season and want to bring a pup, just reach out to Elizabeth before you book and she’ll let you know if it’s possible for your dates. For a guaranteed pet-friendly stay any time of year, the Gorge Getaway in Oak Hill has a fully fenced yard and welcomes dogs without the asterisk.
Check-in is at 4 PM, check-out at 11 AM. The keypad means you don’t need to coordinate arrival with anyone — your code comes with your booking confirmation.
The full cancellation policy is at checkout before you confirm anything — so you’ll know exactly what you’re agreeing to before you book. If you have questions, just ask Elizabeth directly.
On-street parking for up to four cars, right out front. It’s a residential street — guests have never had trouble.
Booking direct saves you 10–15% because you’re skipping the platform service fees. Same house, same host, same experience — just more of your money going toward the trip instead of the middleman.
Pick your dates and reserve DT Bungalow right here. No platform fees, direct host access, and the same home you'd find on Airbnb — for less.
