House Rules & What to Know
We want every guest to have a wonderful stay. A few guidelines help us keep the homes in top shape for everyone.
House Rules
- No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property
- No parties or events
- Quiet hours outdoors: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- Maximum occupancy: 12 guests (adults and children, excluding infants)
- No commercial photography or filming
- No unregistered guests permitted on the property
- No firearms, weapons, or illegal drugs on the property
Pet Policy
- Maple & Main is not pet-friendly - no pets of any kind, please
- Bringing your dog? Our Delightful Gorge Getaway in Oak Hill welcomes dogs
- Unregistered or unapproved pets may result in additional charges

Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: 4:00 PM - self check-in via smart lock
- Check-out: before 10:00 AM
- Your door code activates automatically once verification is complete
- Within 48 hours of booking (24 hours for last-minute stays), complete a quick ID match and e-sign the rental agreement
Safety & Security
- One exterior camera covering the backyard and driveway only - never any interior view
- Motion-activated video and sound, outward-facing only
- Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors installed throughout
- First-aid kit and fire extinguisher available on site
Trip insurance: We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance. Weather, power outages, family emergencies, illness, or natural disasters do not qualify for a refund - and trip insurance is typically less than 10% of your trip cost.
Things to Know
- Parking: Free on-site parking for up to 3 vehicles
- Fire pit and grill: A propane fire pit and a propane grill out back - propane is provided, so just light them and enjoy
- Basement: The basement is private and locked during your stay
- Trash: Please bag all garbage before departure and place it in the outdoor bin
Cancellation & Fees
- Cancellation policies vary by booking platform - please review the terms on Airbnb or VRBO at the time of booking
- A standard cleaning fee is included in your booking total
- Damages, excessive cleaning, or violation of house rules may result in additional charges
Protect your trip: We strongly encourage all guests to purchase trip insurance at the time of booking. Unforeseen circumstances (weather, illness, emergencies) are not covered by our cancellation policy.
