This was a really neat house. It was situated just a short drive from all the things you can do in the area. It’s also walkable to a general store that is incredible – great for coffee, sandwiches and swag. The house itself is immaculate, comfortable mattresses, and a great front porch with a fire pit. This will be our go to spot in the area whenever it is available.

Elizabeth is a fantastic host! She made everything easy for myself and my friends when we stayed here. She was extremely fast to respond whenever I had questions, went above and beyond to make sure those questions were answered, and it’s obvious that she works hard to keep the house looking beautiful. How far is Adventure Haven from New River Gorge National Park?
You’re basically in it. The New River Gorge Bridge and Canyon Rim Visitor Center are about 2 minutes by car. Endless Wall Trail is 5 minutes. Long Point Trailhead is around 10 minutes. Adventures on the Gorge is a 1-minute drive or an 8-minute walk. You won’t spend your trip in the car.
How many guests can Adventure Haven sleep?
The home sleeps up to 7 guests across 3 bedrooms. There’s a primary queen bedroom, a second queen bedroom, and a bunk room with a full-over-twin bunk. Two full bathrooms mean even a full house doesn’t create a morning bottleneck.
Is Adventure Haven walkable to anything?
This is a mountain setting, not a downtown location — but Adventures on the Gorge is an 8-minute walk, and Swiftwater General Store and Cafe is about 350 feet away. For downtown Fayetteville restaurants and shops, it’s about an 8-minute drive.
Are pets allowed at Adventure Haven?
Adventure Haven is not a pet-friendly property. If you’re traveling with dogs, check out our Gorge Getaway in Oak Hill — it has a fully fenced yard and is built for pet-friendly groups.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Standard check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Self check-in via smart lock — no need to coordinate arrival times with us. If you need an early check-in or late check-out, reach out directly and we’ll do our best to accommodate based on the calendar.
