"We had an excellent stay! As soon as we walked in we felt immediately at home. This property is very charming, rustic, and tastefully decorated. Everything was very clean, there were plenty of supplies available to use (especially in the kitchen), and the home is very spacious. We brought our pups with us on this trip and when we walked in, Elizabeth had a basket of supplies waiting for us by the fireplace (dog treats, extra bowls, a cover for the couch, etc.) It was so thoughtful and such a nice touch. Check in/out was a breeze, there are several small town restaurants and shops within walking distance, and there are plenty of outdoor activities nearby (skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, etc.) Winterplace Ski Resort is just 40 mins away. It’s a very easy drive. Highly recommend this location if you plan to visit the area! We plan to return. ✨"

"This house is marvelous!!! The house is cute, cozy, very nicely decorated, clean, and just plain great! The beds were comfortable, there’s lots of space to visit with your group, there is plenty of cooking stuff (pots, pans, Tupperware, etc), and the toilet paper is cushiony, not the industrial, scratchy stuff! 🙂
The back deck is a great spot to enjoy a cocktail or meal and the fire pit in the backyard was fun! So bring some firewood if it’s going to be chilly!
The home is in a great location, too! We walked to pick up a tasty dinner from The Take Out and also walked to Pies and Pints, which was good, too. Several other restaurants and many shops were within walking distance of the house. It was a great place for our visit to the New River Gorge National Park as well! I would definitely stay here again!

As soon as you set foot in this home, you’ll feel the warmth and character that make it a delight. Originally built in 1927, it has charming details like original hardwood floors, warm lighting and welcoming spaces that make it feel like home. Walking into each of the delighful bedrooms, you will find that they have been updated to meet today’s standards while still having their quirks with exposed brickwork, miniature nooks, and original woodwork which creates the perfect backdrop for your stay.
The farmhouse kitchen is large and offers plenty of space for preparing meals or sharing a cup of coffee with a friend. Three + (you do need to walk through bedroom 4/TV room to access the kitchen) generous bedrooms provide enough space for everyone to have their place to rest at the end of the day. The roomy eat-in kitchen leads out onto the back porch where you can enjoy your morning tea and breakfast in the sunshine. In the evenings head out to the cozy backyard fire pit. Here you will find the perfect place to slow down after a busy day of exploring in the New River Gorge. We know that you’ll be glad to return to this inviting space to relax at the end of each day.
If you need to work, we’ve got you covered with free wifi throughout the house. If it’s laundry day, there’s a washer and dryer that are available for your use. And don’t worry about bringing linens – we supply them all!

We are dog friendly on a case by case basis. – Up to 2 pets allowed with a $35/pet per night fee up to $150 max (for example, if you have one pet and stay 5 nights it will only be $150). This fee is NOT included in booking fees. Our pet fee will be sent upon booking through Airbnb. Send us an Inquiry BEFORE booking with pets.

Check-in is anytime after 4 PM and check-out by 11 AM. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot offer early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure your home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay. Guests who stay beyond their designated checkout time or delay our housekeeping staff are liable for any associated costs and expenses.
Maximum Occupancy: 8 guests. We ask that you kindly respect our maximum occupancy requirement. During certain times of the year, we offer a discounted rate + an additional guest fee. If you have added additional guests, we understand. Please send us a message and we will update your reservation. The number of guests includes adults and children (not infants).
