"We loved our stay at Elizabeth's cottage! First, I have to mention, it was so CLEAN! When we arrived, we opened a bottle of wine. The wine glasses were GLEAMING, they were so clean! We loved all the amenities in the kitchen; cool dishes, coffee mugs, (coffee was provided) dish towels, etc. Having 2 bathrooms was wonderful. I loved that there were tons of thirsty towels and washcloths in the bathrooms. I seldom find this to be true when traveling. I also want to mention that the host, Elizabeth, was very helpful and extremely quick to respond whenever I reached out. It was a glorious stay."

Each bedroom is equipped with medium-firm to firm mattress, soft 100% cotton bedding, 2″ blinds, and room-darkening curtains to ensure a restful sleep after a long day of exploring the New River Gorge.

The first ensuite bathroom features a retro tub and shower combo, and although it is slightly smaller than standard, it’s no less enjoyable. The second full bathroom also features a retro tub and shower combo, which is the standard size – perfect for after a day of play outside in New River Gorge. If you’re looking for a unique getaway with a touch of nostalgia, this is the perfect spot for you!
Parties and events are not allowed
Smoking, illegal drugs, parties, and excessive noise are strictly prohibited on the property.

Guests who stay beyond their designated checkout time or delay our housekeeping staff are liable for any associated costs and expenses.
Maximum Occupancy: 8 guests. We ask that you kindly respect our maximum occupancy requirement. During certain times of the year, we offer a discounted rate + an additional guest fee.
